Biography

Thomas received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016. His research focuses on soot aerosol aggregation using custom-built MATLAB codes; a suite of scripts to construct DLA aggregates and analyze their properties is now being optimized to attempt near-parity with existing C codes. Prior work includes construction of a LabVIEW VI to operate a TSI Nephelometer (and supporting documentation) and construction of a mixing chamber to aid in the lab’s research.
