Yang received his B.S. in Bio-Engineering from Hebei University of Technology in Tianjin, China in 2014. His research focuses on the optical properties of black carbon aggregate and percolated aggregates. He has been involved with analyzing TiO2 Gels formation in negative gravity flame reactor and developing filter based correction factors for black carbon and brown carbon. He has also built a 1047 nm Photoacoustic-Nephelometer system to aid with his, and the lab’s, research.
